Job Description

  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to provide support and assistance with daily living activities, mobility, nutrition, and safety needs.
  • Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with routine care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while adhering to patient care plans and facility policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire, with active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Nursing students currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program, having completed at least 100 hours of practicum, may also be considered.
  • BLS Responder certification required, with ability to participate on code teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
