Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MANPASAND INDIAN CUISINE INC. as a key member of our culinary team.
Job Summary:The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Create new recipes and menus to ensure a diverse and exciting dining experience for our customers.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about food preparation, presentation, and safety.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences and plan menus accordingly.
- Ensure that all food meets quality standards and is presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped.
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to maintain a well-maintained kitchen.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of communication.
- 30 hours per week.
The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.
