Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Transaction Coordinator to join our team at the Government of Northwest Territories. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to Accounting Clerks on complex financial transactions.
  • Process unique and specialized transactions related to client department-specific program needs.
  • Reconcile complex or time-sensitive transactions to meet performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless financial transaction processing.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 and post-secondary course financial/accounting courses.
  • 2 years of directly related full-cycle financial transaction processing experience.
  • 1 year of directly related payroll transaction processing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business Administration Diploma or Degree.
  • Canadian Payroll Certification - Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP).
