Senior Business Development Manager, PowerA

Job Summary
Acco Brands is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sr. National Accounts Manager to oversee the business and sales of PowerA across Canada and Latin America. Reporting to the VP, Sales for the Americas, this role will be responsible for driving the company's strategy for each territory, managing a diverse account base, and ensuring strong service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary retail and distribution customer business lead for PowerA in two distinct territories: Canada and Latin America.
- Develop and implement short and long-term strategic growth plans in each region.
- Drive assortment recommendations, new product initiatives, and lifecycle management to achieve gross sales, net sales, and gross margin targets.
- Manage the day-to-day business needs with the account base, ensuring timely and accurate delivery, providing outstanding customer service, negotiating contracts, and meeting vendor scorecard requirements.
- Lead regular business reviews and product assortment & line reviews, involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and manage regular account reporting, product assortment curation, and growth opportunities.
- Own the forecast for the assigned territory, working closely with demand planning, supply teams, and customer buying and planning partners.
- Provide regular territory and customer business updates and represent retail needs in the company's product development planning process.
- Manage company marketing activities through each retail and distribution partner in the territory.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in sales or account management in the CPG, consumer electronics, or packaged entertainment category.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing business with retail or distribution partners.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of prospecting new business, opening new doors, and growing new retail and distribution customers.
- Experience with forecasting and collaboration with demand planners.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and negotiation skills.
- Team player with the ability to work closely with internal departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the video game industry.
- French or Spanish language proficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Travel to US/Latin America up to 20%.
