Job Description

The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and guiding prospects through the sales funnel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in closing complex services deals and achieving sales quotas.

This role requires identifying, prospecting, and qualifying new business opportunities using proactive outreach, referrals, and networking. The successful candidate will present proposals and close deals with a consultative approach, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.

In this role, you will collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning.

The Senior Business Development Manager will build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales performance. This individual will develop long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted IT advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities using proactive outreach, referrals, and networking.
  • Present proposals and close deals with a consultative approach, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven sales professional with five years of B2B experience, preferably in the professional services, IT services, software, or MSP industry.
  • Skilled at understanding client needs and translating them into practical, scalable IT solutions.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers and IT leaders.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and service teams.
  • Passionate about technology and continually improving your knowledge of the IT landscape.
  • A driven, results-oriented individual with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

Strong track record in closing complex services deals and achieving sales quotas.

Knowledge of IT services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and network management.
