Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Representative to join our team at Acosta. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales and merchandising coverage to our clients in assigned retail territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Merchandising Objectives: Deliver sales results against quotas across all clients in assigned territories, meeting client expectations regarding sales and call coverage and productivity.
  • Client Support: Assist supervisors on retail initiatives, such as new product introductions and contests, as assigned.
  • Territory Coverage: Deliver 100% coverage every reporting cycle of assigned retail territory according to client frequency plans.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report accurate information into Acosta's proprietary network and transmit on a daily basis, effectively communicate client information to store personnel.
  • Product Placement and Display: Achieve new item and existing item placement according to client speed to shelf guidelines, maintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts per plan-o-gram.
  • Physical Requirements: Meet the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 30 pounds, having good vision, and being able to operate a calculator, fax machine, telephone, copier, hand truck, hammer, screwdriver, and utility knife.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent in industry name required.
  • Experience: Prior retail experience (to include Retail Sales) preferred, but not required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Must be able to effectively communicate with others, have good vision, and be able to operate various equipment.
Working Conditions

This position requires that you drive on behalf of Acosta Sales & Marketing. Therefore, any DUI/DWI conviction in the past 36 months will be an immediate disqualifier for this position.
