Meat Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meat Department Manager to join our team at 1283831 B.C. LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the meat department and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality products.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control daily operations of the meat department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
- Manage staff and assign duties, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are working effectively.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and adjust merchandise and services accordingly.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, including selecting and procuring products for resale.
- Implement price and credits policies, ensuring that they are fair and competitive.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality standards.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring that the department is operating within budget.
- Determine staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- 3-4 years of experience in a meat department or related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Availability for shift or on-call work.
- Current legal ability to work in Canada.
- Residency in proximity to the advertised location.
- Previous experience in this field of employment.
