Meat Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meat Department Manager to join our team at 1283831 B.C. LTD. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our supermarket/grocery store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and control daily operations, including managing staff and assigning duties.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including determining merchandise and services to be sold, implementing price and credit policies, and locating and selecting merchandise for resale.
- Manage staff and assign duties, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors' operations on sales.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, including determining staffing requirements and resolving issues that may arise.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate operations and implement changes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
