Meat Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meat Department Manager to join our team at 1283831 B.C. LTD. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading the meat department and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties.
- Merchandising: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales, determine merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credits policies.
- Inventory Management: Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
- Staffing: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
- Work Setting: Rural area, relocation costs not covered by employer, supermarket/grocery store.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, standing for extended periods.

- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
