We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meat Department Manager to join our team at 1283831 B.C. LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the meat department and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties.
  • Merchandising: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales, determine merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credits policies.
  • Procurement: Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Financial Management: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
  • Staffing: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
  • Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
Work Environment:

The Meat Department Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods and requiring attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Legal Status: Currently legally able to work in Canada.
  • Residency: Currently reside in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Experience: Previous experience in this field of employment.
