Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our team members, including cooks, cashiers, and food service staff.
- Train and develop our team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Make decisions regarding staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, including responding to complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor customer feedback and make recommendations for improving our service.
- Operations and Maintenance
- Oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, including food preparation, inventory management, and maintenance of our equipment and facilities.
- Ensure that our restaurant meets all health and safety standards, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Financial Management
- Manage our restaurant's finances, including cash handling, inventory management, and payroll.
- Monitor our sales and profitability, making recommendations for improving our financial performance.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
