Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our restaurant staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure that our restaurant is well-stocked and prepared for customer demand.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that our restaurant is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure to meet customer demand.
    • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and walking.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and supervision to staff.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
