Job Title: Senior Media Planner

Starcom is seeking a highly skilled Senior Media Planner to join our team. As a key member of our performance-media strategy team, you will be responsible for driving measurable business outcomes through data-driven insights and meaningful human connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships and project tracking with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Oversee daily campaign oversight, with a particular emphasis on reporting and optimization to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Analyze campaign performance daily, compiling and checking reports from partners and CM360 to inform optimization strategies.
  • Conduct market research to determine the best course of action for client advertising and media needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of marketing objectives and how they translate into effective media plans.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and present strategic plans to clients, guiding planners on strategy and deck development.
  • Communicate media objectives, strategies, and executional guidelines clearly to execution teams and external partners.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media suppliers and leverage syndicated media, research, and data resources to inform decision-making.
  • Take ownership of internal and external status documents and meetings, ensuring timely and accurate information is shared.
  • Develop and present point-of-view (POV) documents to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage data collection and billing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of the digital performance marketing ecosystem.
  • 2-3 years of experience planning online and offline channels with a focus on digital and performance media.
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Able to work successfully within a team, owning projects and delegating tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strong analytical mindset and math proficiency.
  • Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources.
  • Technical proficiency in media systems and MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
