Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dealer Supervisor 2-HFX to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our casino operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the supervision and security of multiple table games and dealers within an assigned section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Game Monitoring: Monitor games, player tracking, and reports to ensure compliance with government regulations and internal controls.
  • Dealer Development: Develop and mentor dealers through daily coaching and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Integrity and Compliance: Ensure the integrity of games by enforcing government regulations, internal controls, and department policies and procedures.
  • Conflict Resolution: Deal with conflict resolution and provide comps as necessary to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Departmental Projects: Participate in various departmental and company development initiatives, such as promotional ideas and increasing headcount.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Report wins and losses, and maintain accurate records of game activity.
  • Emergency Procedures: Ensure the security of assets during emergencies, such as fire alarms and power failures.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with guests, ownership, employees, vendors, and regulators.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Requirements
  • Casino Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a casino environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Proven ability to develop and mentor employees, and provide coaching and feedback to enhance their performance.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrated exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing a positive guest experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proven technical abilities, game mix, and extensive knowledge of gaming policy and procedures.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated exceptional communication, negotiating, and conversational skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Proven ability to make sound judgments and decisions, and to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
