About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Junior Service Advisor to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of the automotive service industry and excellent communication skills.

Job Summary

The Junior Service Advisor will be responsible for working with customers to resolve their vehicle concerns, determining repair timelines, and communicating with technicians to ensure accurate repair descriptions and work order creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ascertain auto services by listening to customers' descriptions of symptoms, clarifying problem descriptions, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions and exclusions.
  • Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, calculating customers' payments, including deductibles.
  • Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required, obtaining approval signatures, and entering RO into the service database system.
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicles, obtaining customers' approval of estimates, obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers, answering questions and concerns, and arranging towing and temporary transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading manufacturers' publications.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Minimum - years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Auto experience considered an asset.
  • Able to work flexible hours within our business hours, including Saturdays.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including health and wellness programs, employee referral bonuses, and discounts on company products and services.
