Marketing Professional with B2B Expertise

Are you a marketing expert looking for a challenging role in the dynamic B2B industry? Dexterra Group is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in developing and executing our annual marketing strategy, creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing the needs of our internal stakeholders and collaborating on a recommended approach to meet communication objectives
  • Conducting stakeholder interviews and primary research to establish industry insights
  • Crafting key messages aligned with audience insights to inform content development
  • Creating story-based content, including blogs and case studies, for use on our website, social channels, and campaigns
  • Project managing the creation of content, working collaboratively with business leaders, creative services, and other members of the Marketing and Communications team
  • Assisting the Director and Sr. Manager with developing audience-based marketing strategies
  • Managing social communities and ensuring alignment with our social media strategy
  • Publishing content to our website and social channels using CMS and scheduling tools
  • Analyzing engagement and results of content to help shape future activities

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A post-secondary education from an accredited university or college with a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a similar field
  • At least 5 years of B2B marketing and communications experience
  • Strong SEO content writing skills and a thorough understanding of the B2B buyer journey
  • Exceptional project management and communications skills
  • A well-developed understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including campaign management, Google Analytics, keyword analysis, and search ads
  • Experience with martech platforms such as Salesforce, SEMrush, and Meltwater
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills are considered an asset
