Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at the College and Association of Nurses of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (CANNN). As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Open and distribute mail and other materials
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries

  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
