Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform routine bench work, process specimens, test, document procedures and results, maintain equipment, stock supplies, and clean the working area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory methodologies and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent;
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) or eligibility to register;
  • Experience in core lab including Hematology, Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

This position requires a medical laboratory technologist diploma and certification exams for general registration from CSMLS. You may be required to work at any site of Mackenzie Health.
