Overview
Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Hematologist to join its team of medical professionals. As a Hematologist, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with blood disorders, including benign and malignant conditions. You will work closely with a dedicated team of oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation services for inpatient Hematology cases
- Work collaboratively with the Oncology Clinic Team to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Participate in rounds on the Medicine inpatient ward, working with other Department of Medicine subspecialists
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Laboratory, Pathology, Diagnostic Imaging, and Interventional Radiology Departments
Requirements
- Independent license or eligibility for an independent license with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- FRCP(C) with certification in Hematology and eligibility for APP under the ONT MOA agreement
- Eligibility to work in Canada without restrictions
- Member of the Canadian Medical Protection Association in good standing
