Job Description:

The successful candidate will contribute to safe and quality care by performing routine bench work according to established methodologies and procedures. They will also be responsible for reporting patient test results, analyzing and interpreting results, and taking appropriate action when necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess a Medical Laboratory Technologist General Diploma from a recognized school of Medical Laboratory Technology, as well as current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO). Experience in core lab including Hematology, Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Report patient test results
  • Analyze and interpret results
  • Take appropriate action when necessary
Requirements:
  • Medical Laboratory Technologist General Diploma
  • Current registration with CMLTO
  • Experience in core lab
