About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the operation of community-based mental and addiction services programs. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver mental health and addiction assessment, treatment, and disposition planning to clients and their families.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy, and be licensed with a relevant body. They will have at least five years of experience in mental health and addiction intervention, and be able to provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to clients. The ideal candidate will also have strong leadership and supervision skills, and be able to identify areas for service improvement and facilitate quality initiatives.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also have a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.

Hours

This is a long-term assignment, with a full-time position of 75 hours biweekly. You will be required to travel to various sites, and may be required to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the program.

Compensation and Incentives

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $44.36 - $51.72, and may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
