About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Mental Health and Addiction Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the operation of community-based mental health and addiction services programs.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy, and be licensed with a relevant body. They will have at least five years of experience in mental health and addiction intervention, and be able to provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to clients.

The Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities, identifying areas for service improvement, and facilitating and evaluating quality initiatives. They will also provide clinical leadership and supervision to the multi-disciplinary team, and ongoing and extensive clinical oversight to new clinicians and clinicians with little experience within this specialty.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have the ability to travel to various sites as required.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who has the following qualifications and experience:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed with a relevant body
  • At least five years of experience in mental health and addiction intervention
  • Ability to provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Hours

This is a long assignment full-time position, with 75 hours biweekly. The assignment is approximately 15 months, with dates subject to change.

Compensation and Incentives

The successful candidate will be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan. They will also receive a competitive hourly rate of $51.72.
