About the Opportunity

As a key member of our team, the Team Lead will play a critical role in coordinating and supervising the operation of community-based mental and addiction services programs. This includes delivering mental health and addiction assessment, treatment, and disposition planning to clients and their families with mental health disorders across the lifespan. The successful candidate will ensure and oversee the provision of comprehensive services to this target population, while also liaising with local inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services and agencies to promote consistency and continuity of patient care.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy, and licensure with a relevant body. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in mental health and addiction intervention, with a proven track record of providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients. The successful candidate will also have strong clinical leadership and supervision skills, with the ability to provide ongoing and extensive clinical oversight to new clinicians and clinicians with little experience within this specialty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team
  • Develop and implement quality initiatives to improve service delivery
  • Collaborate with local inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services and agencies to promote consistency and continuity of patient care
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients
  • Ensure all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Identify areas for service improvement and facilitate evaluations
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials, and other guidelines for care
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the multi-disciplinary team
  • Facilitate internal referrals
  • Nonviolent crisis intervention
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure with a relevant body
  • At least five years of experience in mental health and addiction intervention
  • Proven track record of providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients
  • Strong clinical leadership and supervision skills
  • Ability to provide ongoing and extensive clinical oversight to new clinicians and clinicians with little experience within this specialty
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
