Job Title: LPN/RN (Home Care)

Edgewood Health Network Inc is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Home Care setting.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated LPN/RN to provide medical care, recovery therapies, and everyday support to clients in our Detox and addictions residential treatment program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to clients, administer medications, and support the Nursing Team and Physician as directed.
  • Conduct clinical nursing assessments during patient intake and discharge processes.
  • Collect medical/mental health/substance use history, urine samples, and administer breathalyzer tests.
  • Provide nursing care and interventions, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration during medically supervised detox processes.
  • Monitor acute or chronic conditions, administer scheduled and PRN medications, and perform First Aid.
  • Document nursing assessments, care, behaviors, and progress in our electronic medical record system.
  • Communicate with physicians regarding medical concerns, medication orders, and patient progress.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Team to maintain continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • Valid and current LPN/RN license with the College of Nurses of British Columbia.
  • Trauma-informed training/experience an asset.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Level C and Class 5 Driver's License in good standing.
