Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

EHN Canada is a leading provider of mental health, trauma, and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a residential treatment setting.

Job Summary:

The LPN will provide medical care, recovery therapies, and everyday care and support to clients in our Detox and Addictions program. This includes administering medications, providing nursing care, and supporting clients in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical nursing assessments and medical care for clients
  • Administration of medications and vital sign monitoring
  • Providing nursing care and interventions for clients in medically supervised detox
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
  • Documenting client progress and care in the KIPU electronic medical record system
Requirements:
  • Valid and current LPN license with the College of Nurses of British Columbia
  • Trauma-informed training and experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
