Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

EHN Canada is a leading provider of mental health, trauma, and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a residential treatment program.

Job Summary:

The LPN will provide medical care, recovery therapies, and everyday care and support to clients in our detox and addictions residential treatment program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct clinical nursing assessments during patient intake and discharge processes
  • Administer medications and provide nursing care to clients
  • Monitor vital signs and provide interventions as needed
  • Document patient information and progress in our electronic medical record system
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical counselors, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Certificate from a recognized Health Care Worker educational program
  • Experience in a related field an asset
  • Trauma-informed training/experience an asset
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent diploma
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Level C
  • Clear Criminal record check through the Ministry of Justice
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License in good standing
