Edge Imaging is a leading Canadian school photography company with over 400 employees and years of experience in digital capture and school photography. Our state-of-the-art photo lab and customer care centre are located in Burlington, Ontario. We service over 2,500 schools across Canada.
We pride ourselves on being 100% Canadian owned and operated. With our growing business, we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Sales Development Manager for the East Coast region.
Role SummaryAs a Sales Development Manager with Edge Imaging Inc., you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, renewing existing business, and selling the Edge Imaging brand, products, and services. Your primary goal will be to grow Edge Imaging's business in line with our company vision and values.
Responsibilities- You will establish plans and strategies in partnership with your sales colleagues and management to expand the customer base in each of the respective territories you're assigned to.
- You will work closely with photographers to ensure they're properly representing the Edge Imaging brand in areas of professionalism and photography quality.
- You will schedule photographers throughout the year to meet customer photography schedules and ensure all HR documentation for your team is submitted according to Edge policies and procedures.
- You will successfully renew existing customers to meet company targets in developing territories.
- You will provide exceptional and smart customer service throughout the year to ensure customers are happy.
- You will continually build relationships with photo decision-makers and other key contacts (administrative assistants, vice principals, principals, etc.).
- You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape in the growing territory, including competitor programs and offerings, and create competitive analysis summaries to assist in presentations to prospects.
- You will implement key account acquisition and account retention plans.
- You will drive sales growth by creating strong one-on-one personal relationships with school authorities who are decision-makers for school pictures.
- You should have up to 3 years of sales and management experience.
- You should hold a college diploma or equivalent.
- You should possess good judgment, an ability to balance both customers' and the company's best interests, excellent composure under pressure, sound and timely decision-making, strong teamwork and leadership skills, commitment to process improvements, strong organization and time management skills, proven ability in meeting sales targets preferably in school photography.
This role involves working in a fast-paced office environment, requiring extended periods of sitting, occasional moving or lifting of items up to 25lbs, travel throughout the specified region, and working in school environments from Kindergarten to College/University.
