Intake Support Counsellor

Family Services of Greater Vancouver is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intake Support Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our Care Centre, you will provide front-line support to clients calling into our Counselling/Crisis Line and Service Intake Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Assess client needs and determine when to elevate clients to an appropriate Masters Level Counsellor
- Follow up with service requests, contacting clients about services, referrals, and other administrative tasks
- Collaborate with FSEAP Care Centre Counsellors, Clinical Managers, Account Managers, and Affiliate Manager
- Manage telephonic client and affiliate contact, data entry, and scanning and attaching documents in a client management database

Requirements- Minimum Bachelor degree in Psychology or related field
- Minimum 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 2 years' experience in customer service assessing and supporting critical customer needs
