We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Terraceview Lodge, a 99-bed long-term care facility in Terrace, BC.
About the Role:The successful candidate will work within a client and family-centered care model, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to clients in accordance with the expected competencies and standards of practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct assessments, plan, and provide nursing care to clients, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
- One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience.
- Comprehensive benefit packages, including MSP, extended health/dental, and a municipal pension plan.
- Four weeks of vacation with one year of continuous service.
