Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Terraceview Lodge. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work within the context of a client and family-centered care model, applying the Nursing Process to assess, plan, provide, and evaluate patient care. You will work under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor or designate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, and implementation of care plans
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients
  • Work within the context of a client and family-centered care model
  • Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, provide, and evaluate patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
