Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Terraceview Lodge, a 99-bed long-term care facility in Terrace, BC.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work within a client and family-centered care model, providing compassionate patient care to our residents. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care, as well as collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety
Requirements:
  • Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
