As a Personal Insurance Advisor at BrokerLink, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients. This role requires a strong analytical and organizational skillset, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line sales and service by analyzing, counseling, and recommending coverage to clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients to identify their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Qualify clients, measure quality of risk, and ensure proper risk rating is applied.
  • Place new business with appropriate insurance companies and follow up on daily ex-dates and prospective clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on underwriting rules and workflow processes to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery.
Requirements
  • High School and/or Post-Secondary Education.
  • A valid insurance license for the Province of Nova Scotia or willingness to obtain same.
  • Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) would be an asset.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
