About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Canadians affected by cancer. As a Cancer Fundraising Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our Cops for Cancer program, collaborating with colleagues across the country to drive fundraising success.

You will be responsible for developing new tools and resources, identifying innovative opportunities, managing financial reports and budgets, and ensuring smooth event logistics. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building relationships with stakeholders and representing the Canadian Cancer Society at events.

In this role, you will have the chance to work closely with a diverse team, contribute to our culture of justice, belonging, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and help us achieve our goal of creating a healthier future for all Canadians.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Related post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong time management, project management, and relationship management skills.

You should also possess superior verbal and written communication skills, proven interpersonal skills, including presentation and facilitation skills, negotiation, problem-solving, and diplomacy skills to resolve issues with stakeholders.

A flexible schedule that allows for multiple after-hours events and meetings, as well as the ability to travel within Canada, will also be beneficial.


What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $63,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with excellent benefits, including paid parental leave, paid family sick time, and health insurance.
