Job Title: Site Manager 3

As a Site Manager 3 with the BC Non-Profit Housing Association, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of our residential buildings and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily building operations, including maintenance and repair duties, to ensure the safety and security of all buildings.
  • Develop and implement property plans, including fire safety and emergency response plans.
  • Participate in the development of the building annual operating budget and monitor expenditures.
  • Provide leadership in facility planning, including renovations and building maintenance.
  • Supervise staff, contractors, and others, monitoring projects and workloads, and ensuring maintenance projects are effectively coordinated.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing support, coaching, and training to foster high performance and effective teamwork.
  • Ensure accurate capture and maintenance of building, resident, and suite information in relevant software applications.
  • Perform unit inspections, respond to resident inquiries and complaints, and deliver notices and forms as requested.
  • Liaise with municipalities and authorities on issues such as permits, licenses, and operational codes.
  • Manage and participate in Emergency On-Call-Systems for assigned properties.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in residential housing, including experience with multi-unit management of a portfolio of 200 or more units.
  • Certificate in Property Management or related fields an asset.
  • Experience working with senior, family, special needs residents, and/or mixed housing.
  • Good mechanical and technical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and property management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and dispute resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Must pass a criminal record check related to working with vulnerable residents.
