About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team at BizLink. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials into and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bulk Cable Management: You will be responsible for bulk cable rewinding, testing, and quality checks, utilizing specialized rewinding machines to meet customer specifications and conducting visual inspections.
  • 5S Principles: You will maintain a clean and organized work area by implementing 5S principles, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Inventory Management: You will manage the receipt and shipment of all products, materials, and supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory levels.
  • Logistics Coordination: You will collaborate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless shipment and receipt of products.
  • Shipping and Receiving: You will promptly unload trucks and deliveries, sort and stock receivables, and maintain accurate log sheets of daily moves.
  • Vendor and Driver Relations: You will engage with vendors and drivers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring positive relationships and efficient communication.

Requirements:

  • Warehouse or Shipping/Receiving Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment is an asset.
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience is required for this role.
  • RF Equipment Familiarity: Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred.
  • Shift Work: You must be able to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Team Player: You will be working as part of a team, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, with other languages considered an asset.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word.
