About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our Commercial Marketing team at Imperial Tobacco Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial and consumer performance within an assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Performance: Manage your territory to deliver volume and market share targets that contribute to achieving national, regional, and district-level objectives.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver an outstanding customer experience by leveraging digital tools and assets to maintain strong business relationships, train retailers and staff, and respond to customer questions and concerns.
  • Market Development: Generate and maintain market demand of our multi-category products by ensuring adequate inventory levels, attaining distribution targets, reducing out-of-stock situations, and merchandising effectively.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate on special projects at the provincial and national levels with your team of Territory Managers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Drive performance in a highly regulated market.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years' relevant work experience in a marketing-focused role, preferably in the FMCG or a global organization.
  • Skills: Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills, strong business insights, strategic approach, and account management capabilities.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Language: Bilingual (French and English) - Knowledge of English is required due to the role's involvement with customers and suppliers across Canada and globally.
