Job Summary:

Gordon Food Service is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and profitability in assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and developing new customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including District Sales Manager and Customer Support Center, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, as established by the company.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in food services sales and management.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and negotiation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or Marketing is an asset.
