German Language Instructor Position

Part 3 of a sequence of German language courses offered at the University of Ottawa, this course prepares students for the Goethe Institute's exam towards the widely recognized Certificate of German. The course consists of:
- Review and expansion of previously acquired basic German skills, including listening comprehension, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and cross-cultural awareness.
- Course Component: Lecture
Prerequisites: ALG 1902 or permission of the Department. Note that ALG 2901, ALG 2001 cannot be combined for credit.
Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in German or equivalent. Recent experience in teaching Introductory German with computer-assisted Language Learning (CALL) or equivalent is also required. Familiarity with recent teaching methodologies in German is a must, as is being bilingual (French and English).
