About the Role

Queensway Carleton Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic hospital setting.

Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to deliver exceptional speech and language pathology services to patients, enabling them to achieve optimal functional independence. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring seamless patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and establish clear treatment goals with patients
  • Formulate and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with departmental standards and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in ongoing continuing education activities to enhance professional development and stay updated on best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's Honours Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Audiology and Speech and Language Pathology of Ontario
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
Salary Information

This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
