Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified instructor to teach 10-20 hours per week, develop pre/post tests, class objectives, and syllabi, plan and implement curriculum, and complete midterm and final evaluations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, specifically low-income and potential first-generation college students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective instruction to students, promoting academic success and personal growth.
  2. Curriculum Development: Design and develop high-quality curriculum that aligns with Gomasa's educational goals and objectives.
  3. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  4. Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with students, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
  5. Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Secondary Education Teaching Certificate: A preferred qualification for academic classes.
  2. Experience: One (1) year or more of experience teaching curriculum related to the position is preferred.
  3. Diversity and Inclusion: Experience working with diverse populations, specifically low-income and potential first-generation college students is preferred.
  4. Technology Skills: Relevant technology skills and device for virtual and/or in-person instruction.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
