As a key member of our leadership team, you will:

  • Coordinate and implement daily operations, ensuring seamless resident care and services.
  • Exercise delegated authority for resident care and planning, prioritizing their needs and well-being.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring our homes remain financially stable and resilient.
  • Collaborate with our team to implement education, infection control, quality improvement, and risk management processes.
  • Participate in resident assessment and care planning, working closely with our interdisciplinary team.
  • Respond promptly to resident concerns, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and our community partners.
  • Lead resident care conferences, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
  • Recruit, select, and train nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage labor relations, addressing concerns and performance issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Lead our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes, driving excellence and innovation.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy levels and enhance our reputation.
  • Establish and maintain community partnerships, promoting our brand and values.

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • 1-3 years of clinical and business experience, with a strong understanding of senior living environments.
    • RPN/RN with current good standing with the CNO.
    • Effective leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to analyze and problem-solve complex resident and staff situations within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Knowledge of computerized software and Resident Care Management systems is an asset.
