Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Basketball Sales Team at MLSE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling group tickets, season tickets, and partial plans, as well as coordinating and promoting group events to support our Toronto Raptors and Toronto Raptors 905 ticketing team at Scotiabank Arena and Paramount Fine Foods Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and sell group sales and season seat opportunities through call campaigns, cold calling, emailing, and face-to-face appointments.
  • Develop and implement group ticket sales events and promotions to drive our Raptors 905 Season Seat base.
  • Meet or exceed Basketball Sales revenue objectives.
  • Support with Toronto Raptors and Raptors 905 playoffs, as well as other team initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients.
  • Develop strong relationships with minor hockey organizations to support our ticketing plan.
  • Lead the ticket system, including accurate ticket administration and balancing of the financial process.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and proficiency in our CRM system, Salesforce.
  • Fulfill match day responsibilities, including greeting clients, lead prospecting initiatives, and handling pre-and post-game activations.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in developing sales and service relationships.
  • A self-starter with a professional demeanor and presence.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, using time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A positive, team-first approach, incorporating integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Confident in delivering sales calls and presentations.
  • Consistent record of building and developing professional relationships.
  • Strategic at listening, understanding, and presenting in detail.
  • Willingness to mentor and be coached, with a bravery to try new things and learn from results.
  • Highly motivated individual with a strong desire to build a career in the sports business.
  • A 'One-Team' approach toward departmental and company-wide goals.
  • Ability to perform well under timelines, prioritize simultaneously, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Confident user of Microsoft 360 - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • TicketMaster and/or ARCHTICS knowledge is an asset, but not crucial.
  • Salesforce knowledge would be an asset.
