Strategic Vice President

About the Role:
ORBCOMM is seeking a seasoned Strategic Vice President to lead the development and execution of our Satellite Line of Business strategic plan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and product strategy, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the Satellite Line of Business, aligning with ORBCOMM's overall vision and mission.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a product roadmap that incorporates customer, partner, and industry requirements, driving the launch and performance of new products.
- Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team to drive business results, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles, including profit/loss, EBITDA, and recurring revenue.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in product management or equivalent, with a proven track record of delivering software, software as a service, hardware products, and satellite technology.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business results.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and reach consensus across diverse groups.
- Collaboration: Collaborative working style, with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
