About the Role

Hill & Knowlton Ltd. is a leading global communications firm that provides strategic and creative solutions to drive business growth and reputation capital. We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships or Executive Director of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Innovation: Develop and implement a vision for business growth and innovation, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and diversity.
  • Talent Management: Attract, retain, and develop top-tier talent, providing opportunities for growth and career advancement.
  • Commercial Leadership: Drive new business development, leveraging industry knowledge and networks to secure new clients and grow revenue.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic counsel and support to drive business success.
Requirements
  • 15-20 years of experience in public affairs and/or strategic communications leadership roles, preferably in both corporate and agency environments.
  • Deep service knowledge across multiple verticals, including public affairs, government relations, strategic communications, public relations, and public participation.
  • Exceptional judgment, agility, and ability to manage change and complex relationships.
  • Strong financial literacy, with a track record of success in maintaining growth and profitability.
  • Political savvy and experience working with government stakeholders, with an ability to understand the nuances of shifting geopolitical, policy, and community landscapes and risks.
  • Experience leading business development efforts, with a growth mindset and ability to convert new opportunities.
  • A strong network of trusted relationships across government, business, and community stakeholders, with the ability to serve as an industry leader and ambassador for the H&K brand.
  • Bilingual capabilities: English and French fluency is highly desirable.
