Strategic Vice President

ORBCOMM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced executive to lead our Satellite Line of Business as Vice President, Strategy. This is a critical role that will drive the development and execution of our strategic plan, ensuring alignment with our company's vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the Satellite Line of Business, leveraging business acumen and market insights to drive growth and profitability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats, informing strategic decisions and business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic customers, partners, and industry leaders to understand market requirements and assess competitive risks and opportunities.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product plan that incorporates customer, partner, and industry-related requirements, driving innovation and growth.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management or equivalent, with a strong track record of delivering software, software as a service, hardware products, and satellite technology.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services, with a strong focus on business development and growth.
- Deep domain experience in Internet of Things (IoT) as it applies to shipping, ports, and related industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and reach consensus across diverse groups and teams.
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to thrive in a team environment and drive results-oriented initiatives.
