About the Role

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will play a key role in driving business excellence at IMP Group by identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. This role will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Lean initiatives, focusing on fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an internal consultant to IMP Group's business areas, providing guidance and support on process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement Lean tools and methodologies, such as value stream mapping, 5-S, and Kaizen events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Lead and participate in project teams to drive process improvements and implement changes.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of process improvements and make recommendations for further enhancements.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Degree in a related field, such as business, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Lean management systems, tools, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
