The Continuous Improvement Specialist will play a key role in driving business excellence at IMP Group by identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Lean initiatives, focusing on the elimination of waste and the optimization of workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business areas to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic plans to address them.
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions to educate employees on Lean principles and tools.
- Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and identify areas for further optimization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on Lean methodologies and tools.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field (e.g., business, engineering, operations management).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Lean methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Lean Agile Methodologies.
- Experience with process mapping, value stream mapping, and other Lean tools.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and standards for process improvement.
