Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Homewood Health Centre Inc. in Guelph, Ontario. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients in our inpatient Women's Trauma and Concurrent Program.

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the inpatient Women's Trauma and Concurrent Program.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions and provide individual therapy as needed.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.

Requirements:
  • MD or equivalent degree in Psychiatry.
  • Current registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
  • Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
