Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our high-energy Sales team. As a key player in generating interest in WCG's unique offerings, your primary responsibility is to convert potential customers into wholesale registrations, setting the stage for our Sales Specialists to close deals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct outbound calls to targeted accounts from a list of vetted prospective customers
- Create interest and excitement in potential customers, such as smoke shops and dispensaries, and encourage them to register on our website for full product access
- Manage expectations, handle objections, and build rapport
- Meet and exceed KPIs, including call targets and qualified wholesale registrations
- Document all sales activities in HubSpot CRM
- Participate actively in daily sales meetings and training sessions
- 1-2 years of sales or related experience, including outbound calling
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for cannabis accessories
- Confident, persuasive communicator
- Organized, self-motivated, and ambitious
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Growth-oriented and open to continuous learning
- High integrity, accountability, and professionalism
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
