Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and customer service best practices.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate budgeting and cost control.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure effective time management, maximizing productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
